From interfaces to mics, laptops to headphones, these are the top music-making and home studio items you should be considering before Prime Day ends

As musicians and producers, we are constantly on the lookout for the special piece of gear that's going to take our songs to the next level - and if it happens to be cheap, all the better. Well, it's good news for the music-makers as, while the Prime Day music deals are slowly winding down, Amazon's music section (opens in new tab) is still showcasing savings on everything from electric guitars and studio headphones to MIDI controllers and audio interfaces.

Below we've listed a few of our favourite offerings in the home studio department. So if you're looking to start recording your own music, or you're an amateur producer looking to update their equipment, you'll be sure to find something to get excited about this Prime Day.

Roland Rubix 24: Was $259.99, now $199.99 (opens in new tab) Every producer needs a reliable recording interface and they don't come more reliable than the Roland Rubix 24 - and better yet it's on sale! This Prime Day you can bag the Rubix for only $199.99 at Amazon.

Shure SRH1540 Headphones: $499, now $349 (opens in new tab) Enveloping you in detailed highs, rich bass and a gorgeous midrange, the SRH1540 studio headphones (opens in new tab) are an excellent choice for monitoring. Those mammoth mixing sessions will be a dream with Alcantara ear pads, and a Kevlar-reinforced cable means they're virtually bulletproof (although we wouldn't want you to test that theory). With Amazon slashing the price by $150, you won’t need to break the bank to experience incredible audio quality.

Shure Aonic SE215 Pro in-ears: were $99, now $79 (opens in new tab) If you’ve been thinking of making the move towards in-ear monitors (opens in new tab) , these wired options are the perfect entry point, made even better with a 20% reduction for Prime Day. They feature a single driver with enhanced bass, three different sizes of earbud (in foam or flex materials) plus a formable cable for a secure fit around your ear and a carrying case. Ditch the wedges and join the in-ear revolution for less! Available in white, clear, black and blue. Read our full Shure SE215 Pro review (opens in new tab) .

Donner condenser recording mic: $49.99, now $44.99 (opens in new tab) The Donner DC-20 is equipped with a large 16mm diaphragm capsule for a warm and mellow tone. It offers a wide dynamic range and high transient response, making it an excellent choice for home producers. At a paltry $42.99 at Amazon for Prime Day, you really can't go wrong.
